What is it about?

Parents, we need to connect with one another for support – our development and sanity depends on it!

For homeschoolers, our support network is so important that it is the first infrastructure that is developed when we join the community, not curriculum. Just like that adage where it takes a village to raise a child, I believe it takes a a few villages to raise a parent. This talk will empower parents to build a parenting community for their journey ahead.

Who is Dawn Fung?

Dawn Fung is the founder of Homeschool Singapore, a dynamic community of homeschoolers in Singapore that runs the Homeschool Convention, Sports Day, Little U and other events. She has three children.

Who should attend?

Parents who run a parent support group or looking for one, parents who need to hear how this is important to their development.

What would you get out of it?

Knowledge and connections. Get the most out of my talk by learning how to build a parenting community through your existing resources. Get connected to one another and spark meaningful ideas. Your community could be the answered prayer to many around you! There will also be a time for Q&A, so come with your trusty notepad, digital or old school.
