Here is a poem written by homeschooling mum and poet, Madeline Ang to appreciate dads@home and to close the series.

To all the dads who have been working from home, thank you for trying your best to ensure things work out at home. While there are moments of frustrations, overwhelm, or even loss of personal space, we want to thank you for hanging in there with your family.

As a wrap up to our DADs@HOME series, we will like to dedicate the following poem that’s written by our talented homeschooling mum, Madeline @MadaboutGod to you:

Dear DADs@HOME,

It’s not often that
We see so much of dads;
But at such a time as this,
It’s just where we’re at!

Tho’ you can’t bring us
To our favourite mall;
But you’re right here for us
When we urgently call!

Tho’ you can’t play and bask
With us under the sun;
Still you’d make time to add
Some laughter and fun!

It’s not easy for you
To juggle work and home;
But you try your best when
With us or working alone.

So now we just wanna say
That we appreciate you;
For the big and little
Thoughtful things you do!

Luv,
Your KIDs@HOME
(btw, Mommy helped in writing the poem too!;))
